Notebooks
Create, Edit, Delete Notebooks
To create a notebook, first display the notebook list screen.
On iPhone and iPad, tap the "+" button on the notebook list screen to display the new notebook creation screen. You can set a title, icon, and color for the notebook.
On Mac, click the "+" button on the notebook list screen to display the new notebook creation screen.
To edit a notebook on iPhone and iPad, select the notebook you want to edit to open the note list screen. Then tap the "…" button at the top right of the note list screen and select "Edit Notebook" from the menu.
On Mac, right-click the notebook on the notebook list screen and select "Edit Notebook" from the menu.
To delete a notebook, follow the same steps as editing and select "Delete Notebook" from the "..." menu.
Create, Edit, Delete Sections
You can create sections (subfolders) within notebooks to organize your notes.
Tap or click the "Add Section..." button displayed at the bottom of the note list screen to add a section. Tap or click a section to edit its name.
Alternatively, select "New Section" from the "..." menu at the top right of the note list screen to create a section.
Select "Delete Section" from the "..." menu displayed at the right end of the section to delete it.
Sharing with Members
You can share notebooks with members.
To share a notebook on iPhone and iPad, open the note list screen of the notebook you want to share. Tap the "…" button at the top right of the screen and select "Share Notebook" from the menu to display the sharing screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure sharing.
On Mac, display the notebook list screen and right-click the notebook you want to share. Select "Share Notebook" from the menu to display the sharing screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure sharing.
You can also share individual notes. Select "Share Note" from the "..." button menu on the note editing screen.
Please specify the Apple Account email address for member email addresses. Also, make sure that iCloud Drive is enabled on the member's device.
