FirstSeed Notes Adds Voice Recording and Transcription, with AI-Powered Summaries and Action Items

FirstSeed Inc. has added voice recording and transcription to FirstSeed Notes. Meetings, lectures, and even passing ideas can now be captured directly within the app and kept alongside written notes.

Powered by the voice recognition in iOS 26 and macOS 26, recordings are automatically transcribed and saved as text at no additional cost. There is no longer a need to switch between a separate recorder and your notes — voice captures sit beside written ones, ready to be searched and revisited in exactly the same way. The contents of a meeting or a lecture can be saved faster and more reliably than writing them down by hand.

Turn Conversations Into the Next Step with AI

Premium AI features take recordings further. Spoken language that can be difficult to read in raw form is refined into clear, natural text. The app can automatically generate summaries and draft meeting minutes, so even long recordings can be grasped in just a few moments. Action items mentioned during a conversation are extracted automatically, turning each recording into a starting point for the next step. The same features can also be used to organize lecture notes, structure Q&A sessions, and clean up interviews — connecting recording, reflection, and action seamlessly within a single app.
